Rosen Zhelyazkov is GERB's candidate for Prime Minister

Rosen Zhelyazkov is the GERB-UDF (GERB-Union of Democratic Forces - ed. note) candidate for Prime Minister, reported BGNES.

Exactly at 9:00 this morning, the party leader Boyko Borisov, together with Rosen Zhelyazkov and Tomislav Donchev, arrived at the president's office for the handing over of the first exploratory mandate.

In front of Radev, Boyko Borisov announced that the former Speaker of the National Assembly is their candidate for Prime Minister.

The first mandate-holder has a seven-day deadline to implement the mandate, but Zhelyazkov immediately presented the composition and structure of the Council of Ministers.

The Council of Ministers consists of a prime minister, one deputy prime minister and 19 ministers, Zhelyazkov read and announced the names of his cabinet, which includes members of the current caretaker government and ministers from the previous "Borisov" cabinets.
