Politicians voted: they want a regular government and a stable Bulgaria

Most voted for a stable and secure Bulgaria. All are of the opinion that there should be a regular government and that people are tired of voting so often in early elections, reports BGNES.Politicians came out to exercise their right to vote on today's election day. Most voted for a stable and secure Bulgaria. All are of the opinion that there should be a regular government and that people are tired of voting so often in early elections, BGNES reports.

Glavchev: I voted for a regular stable government

I voted for the fact that Bulgaria needs a stable and regular government that respects the Constitution and the laws of the country, and in its actions to be guided by the interests of the people. This is what the caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev said after he voted in the capital's 5th Primary School "Ivan Vazov".

I hope there will be a regular government, everyone is fed up, especially the voters, the prime minister added.

I have repeatedly said that as long as and for as long as it is necessary, our government will stand, in this sense I hope there will be a regular government, and that is what I voted for - for a regular, stable government that will solve the people's problems, Glavchev concluded.

Nazaryan: I voted for the responsible political formation, I hope for a higher turnout

Today it is most important for Bulgarians to be active and vote. This time a regular government must be formed.

This is what Speaker of Parliament Raya Nazaryan said after exercising her right to vote.

"I voted for the responsible political formation, which has proven that it can form regular and successful governments with a full mandate. Bulgaria needs security, stability and justice more than ever. Such results can only be achieved with a regular and successful government that can meet citizens' expectations for prosperity, development, and the challenges our country and the world face every day," Nazarian said.

She stressed that today it is most important for Bulgarians to be active and vote.

"Their vote will determine the future of our country. I hope for a higher voter turnout, because this will increase the legitimacy of the National Assembly and will be an indicator of regaining confidence in the political processes in general."

Asked who could be a suitable coalition partner, Nazaryan said, "First we have to see the results. We have repeatedly stated who is suitable, we have proved that we can, we have worked with them and we have achieved results. There is going to be an analysis, a formula and a lot of thinking because this time a regular government has to be formed."

Yotova: I hope that after the elections we will have a strong government.

Voting reduces the burden of vote buying. That is why I think that today we should think very carefully and that every Bulgarian citizen should go and vote. I also hope that after the elections we will have a strong political government - whether it will consist of several coalitions, that will be decided by the parties that will enter Parliament.

This is what Vice President Iliana Iotova, who voted at the John Atanasov Vocational School of Electronics in Sofia, said.

Let's see the result of the elections, who will be the second, third political force, I think there is an opportunity for negotiations and a clearly outlined program, and above all strong people - leaders. When a society has to come out of a crisis, we need strong leaders, not people we have yet to get to know who they are and what they are, Yotova added.

I hope that the political talk in both directions was more a message to their own voters than a serious talk about what the government will look like. Because one political leader must have tried to mobilise his voters in this way. And as far as this "equidistant" formula is concerned - after all, nobody has told us exactly what that formula looks like so far, and secondly - I think equidistant or close to equidistant - it's more of an option where politicians will want to fool citizens as to why they don't want to get into a real coalition, and govern, the vice president said.

Borisov voted and called: and beware of Gundi (football player Georgi Asparuhov) in the last seconds

During this campaign I toured many regional towns and villages. People want to have a government, security and stability. Not only did we show what we have done, not only did we say what we will do, but also how we will do it.

This is what GERB leader Boyko Borissov said, who traditionally voted in 78 Hristo Smirnenski School in Bankya.

We have given the opportunity to those who want security and stability to vote. At this moment, let the people go out to vote, it is sunny, the grass is green, it is excellent to play. And beware of Gundy in the last seconds, Borissov said. On his way out of the polling station, supporters gave him a PFC Levski T-shirt.

Petkov: I voted to continue the policy of raising incomes

I voted for the continuation of the policy of raising incomes and pensions, for young families to have a chance to raise their children in Bulgaria, for young people who want to stay in Bulgaria to study; for health care without co-payments; continuation of the anti-corruption policy without compromises; and hopefully with a government under the formula we proposed.

This is what said the co-chairman of the PP Kiril Petkov, who voted in 133 SU "A.S. Pushkin" in the capital.

This is the only workable formula at this moment, because with such high distrust between the parties, this is the solution for Bulgaria to move forward, but without compromising on anti-corruption policy, Petkov added.

There are a couple of people we wouldn't be in the same government with, I won't mention them. But I am sure of one thing - that Bulgaria must go forward, and whether it will go forward depends on all Bulgarians, Petkov said.

Kostadin Kostadinov: If today the Bulgarian people do not come out to vote, they are killing their future

We have an extremely low voter turnout. If today the Bulgarian people do not come out to vote, they are killing their future, their children, they are killing Bulgaria. This is what Kostadin Kostadinov, the leader of Revival, said.

By tomorrow it is possible to see a catastrophic country where 50 000-60 000 bought votes can get into parliament. People are not disappointed, but desperate, people do not believe that there will be change, Kostadinov said.

Dogan: I vote for the freedom and security of citizens

I want to vote for the freedom and security of all Bulgarian citizens for a better and successful Bulgaria, Ahmed Dogan, the honorary chairman of MRF, said before voting.

After 8 p.m. tonight we will think what kind of cabinet can be formed, Dogan further said. After exercising his right to vote, the APS chairman said. A people's voice - a voice of God, he referred to the saying of Dogan.

Delyan Peevski: I voted for a better Bulgaria, with a new beginning for the people.

I voted for a better Bulgaria with a new beginning for all. With care for the people and finding agreements for the sake of the people's hopes. This is what DPS chairman and leader of the list of "DPS - New Beginning" for Blagoevgrad and Haskovo Delyan Peevski said at the polling station in St. St. He was also present at the meeting of the Head of the "St. Cyril and Methodius" Party in the Rhodope village of Babiak, Belitsa municipality.

Atanas Atanasov.

There is a chance to form a government, said the co-chairman of PP-DB Gen. Atanas Atanasov, who voted at the National Trade and Banking School in Sofia.

The fate of Bulgaria's government is being decided today, Atanasov said after casting his ballot from the machine and urging voters to come out today and vote.

I traditionally vote for a strong Bulgaria in a united Europe, he said.

Gen. Atanasov was adamant that the PP-DB would not back down from its proposal for a plan to form a regular government with a so-called equidistant prime minister.

Denkov: Think who can, not who is talking about forming a government

Many people think that by not voting they are punishing politicians. Actually, it's just the opposite - by not voting, people give a free bonus to those who buy votes, i.e. those who steal their vote.

This is what Nikolay Denkov said after exercising his right to vote.

Denkov stressed that there was no point in discussing issues related to whether there would be a government before the results came out because "we will only be guessing".

"So far, in difficult conditions, only one party and coalition has managed in the last elections to form a government, so when you vote, think who can, not who is talking about forming a government," he said and clarified that no preliminary talks were held.

Denkov pointed out that there are various opinion polls, but what he expects is for people to go and vote. "As the saying goes - voice of the people, voice of God. I believe the people of Bulgaria are reasonable, they have a practical sense of what is important to them, so in the end we will find the right path," he added.

Asked by BGNES how he would comment on the criticism of the idea of an equidistant prime minister, Denkov said. This is the truth, everything else is an attempt to manipulate public opinion."

Zafirov.

I voted to give the state back to the people because we need to make it clear that every vote is important and everyone should exercise their right not to let someone else decide for them. This is what United Left chairman Atanas Zafirov said after voting.

I voted because Bulgaria is in a severe political, economic, social and moral crisis. It is time for a solution and to build a different Bulgaria, Zafirov said. | BGNES
