PM Glavchev: Bulgaria remains committed to the response to Russian aggression against Ukraine

"Bulgaria remains fully committed to the strong and unified response of NATO, the EU and the international democratic community to Russian military aggression against Ukraine."
This is what the Acting Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Dimitar Glavchev, wrote on his Facebook page, upon his arrival in Switzerland for the Summit for Peace in Ukraine.
"I have arrived in the Swiss resort of Bürgenstock, where I will participate in the First Summit for Peace in Ukraine. I was welcomed by the President of the Swiss Confederation, Viola Amherd, and by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky," Glavchev wrote.
"Bulgaria remains fully committed to the strong and united response of NATO, the EU and the international democratic community to the Russian military aggression against Ukraine. Our country continues to support Ukraine in its just cause to assert its right to freedom and independence and to independently choose its own security guarantees. Bulgaria also supports the Euro-Atlantic perspective of the Ukrainian country. Evidence of this is the Declaration of Support for Ukraine's NATO Membership adopted on July 6, 2023 by the National Assembly. Bulgaria welcomes the European Council's decision to start negotiations for Ukraine's accession to the Union and recognizes the important progress that the country has made," added the Bulgarian Prime Minister. | BGNES
