The president of the Bulgarian Gymnastics Federation, Krasimir Dunev, is now part of the House of Olympians in Paris.
The 1996 Olympic vice-champion in hanging from the Atlanta Games was invited to visit one of the most iconic places in the French capital during the Games and received the "Olympians for Life" award from the World Olympians Association, whose patron is the Prince of Monaco - Albert the Second.
During the award ceremony, Krasimir Dunev was in the company of one of the most emblematic gymnasts, after whom one of the most used elements in gymnastics is named, Eberhard Ginger (Germany) and Henri Boerio (France), who are bronze medalists on a hanger from The 1976 Montreal Games.
The House of the Olympians in Paris is located in the Caisse d'Epargne bank headquarters building, which has been declared a cultural monument by the French Ministry of Culture and is not normally open to visitors. | BGNES
