Kalin Stoyanov was proposed by GERB, he came to us from Maria Gabriel.
But what we found out today is that the real person who was behind this GERB proposal was Peevski.
We look at Peevski's dramaturgy through Kalin Stoyanov to master the next elections, which is very important for him, because he cannot have one vote.
This was stated by the co-chairman of We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (WCC-DB), Kiril Petkov, reported BGNES.
"Today we presented our thesis for getting out of the crisis and it is very clear - we follow the law. The National Assembly has the authority to elect the people from the "House book" - these are the vice-presidents of the Audit Chamber and the ombudsman. Our thesis is that this is not it should be done in some other way than transparent," Petkov said, adding:
"We want to see if there can be transparently elected people in Bulgaria to protect these institutions and that there are no pre-arranged matches, no behind-the-scenes deals, everything is in front of you."
According to him, now the political parties must answer what their vision is.
The opinion of the WCC-DB co-chairman is that Delyan Peevski cannot have a single vote that is voluntary. "I don't believe he has normal political support from anybody," he said.
Petkov responded to Peevski's accusations that he was in the same car with Kalin Stoyanov and the former head of the State Agency for National Security (SANS) Petar Petrov. "Yes, I interviewed Kalin Stoyanov. Yes, I have met him in a car, but the only reason why I met him is because he was proposed by GERB and I wanted to see if this person has the opportunity to be the Minister of the Interior," he explained.
Petkov called for the expression "Peevski's man" to be used from now on when talking about Kalin Stoyanov.
The only ones with whom the WCC-DB did not hold talks today are the DPS deputies around Delyan Peevski, he specified.
Bozhidar Bojanov defined it as speculation that the changes in the Constitution do not work. "The constitution works. Its goal is that no one has sole power through the caretaker government. "Neither the president can single-handedly appoint an interim government at the moment, nor can someone else, such as Peevski, single-handedly determine who will be the minister of one or another," he commented and explained that the responsibility is distributed and no one can currently have ex officio executive power.
Bojanov also refuted the words of GERB leader Boyko Borisov regarding the voting machines. "The machines work well," he insists. | BGNES
