"Every party has the right to choose its leaders, to change them, to have a change" .
This is what "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB) co-chairman Kiril Petkov declared in parliament, according to a BGNES reporter.
"After the elections, every party must revise and make sense of its results," Petkov said of the assembly's relationships.
"Let GERB and Movement for Rignts and Freedoms (MRF) come to the hall; we have a lot of laws to pass." We realize that they need to convene and debate things, but there is also vital work to be done," Petkov said on the eve of the National Assembly's unsuccessful first meeting, which failed to gather a quorum. The GERB-UDF and MRF groups did not register in the hall since both parties were having party meetings.
Petkov reiterated that if GERB and MRF do not attend, the WCC-DB group will not register in the hall. "We are all encouraged to work by the people." "We will not allow people from "Vazrazhdane" to delegate the legislative system," he stated, adding, "We are absolutely ready for meetings and talks, because the entire society is waiting for us, and we must make important decisions." /BGNES
