An inspection is being carried out in a building on Bulair Street in the centre of Kardjali, which houses the office of Ahmed Mollahasan, known as Hassan Aziz's "right-hand man" regarding the business initiatives of the former mayor of the municipality. According to documents, Mollahasan runs a concrete centre in which Hasan's brother Aziz also appears. The company "Kristalna Voda" of Rumen Gaitanski-Valka, which has absorbed huge funds in recent years in its participation in the implementation of the "Water Cycle" and the realization of other large construction projects, is also being checked.

BGNES reminds that on July 11, Hassan Aziz stated that the The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF)"is at a turning point" after the call of the honorary chairman of the MRF, Ahmed Dogan Delyan Peevski, and five other key figures from the movement to resign.

"When party presidents start talking to each other through letters, that's a sign that there's a problem. When there is a divergence in the positions of the chairmen, it is a sign that there is a problem," he added.

BGNES also reminds that on August 9, the Anti-Corruption Commission announced details of the verification of a loan granted by the Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) in 2019 to Roadway Construction AD  company for BGN 148.5 million.

The subject of the investigation is data on embezzlement and misappropriation admitted by BDB officials in connection with a contract concluded on 17.06.2019, with which the bank granted a loan of BGN 148.5 million to Roadway Construction company, for the collateral of which is a signed contract for the supply of aggregates from "Road Construction Engineering" JSC. The main shareholder in the latter company is "Biomining" AD company. In the course of the investigation, it was established that all three commercial companies are managed by the Bulgarian citizen R.G.

It has been established that the contract that served as collateral for the BDB loan to Roadway Construction company was terminated a week after it was signed in 2018.

In the course of the investigation, the Anti-Corruption Commission has analyzed numerous contracts between the mentioned companies to establish the expenditure of the loan received by BDB. There is data that "Kristalna Voda" AD receives a loan from "Bio Mining" AD significant financial funds. It has been established that the Bulgarian citizen R.G. is also connected with the management of Crystal Water AD.

From the analysis of the collected documentation, it is established that "Kristalna Voda" AD company is the guarantor under the loan agreement between D Commerce Bank AD and Therrmal Power Plant (TPP) "Varna" AD from 2019.

It was established that "Kristalna voda" AD is repaying the liabilities of TPP "Varna" AD to D Commerce Bank AD. There is data that the period in which this was done coincides with the provision of a loan for BGN 30 million from the company "Biomining" AD to "Krystalna voda" AD.

The sale of the R.G. "Road Engineering" JSC, a commercial company registered in the city of Kardzhali.

From the documents collected so far and their in-depth research, there is a reasonable assumption that it is about violations of the law that have led to significant damage to the BBR, respectively the financial interest of the state.

The actions of the CPC investigation aim to establish the entire process from the granting of the loan by the BDB to its absorption by the respective final beneficiaries, with a view to the availability of data on the fictitious security of the granted loan presented to the bank. Unlawful actions of officials - BDB employees are also being checked. | BGNES
