Grigorova: Terziev abused Borisov and had the passive backing of Kostadinov to become mayor

"If Vasil Terziev is elected mayor of Sofia, it will be because to the active complicity of Kostadin Kostadinov and the passive backing of Boyko Borisov. Terziev should defend his stance of supporting Putin if anybody needs to do so".

Vanya Grigorova, who was defeated in her bid for mayor of Sofia's capital city, made this statement.

"I do not accept the result as final and we have no way of knowing who is the mayor of Sofia until the court decides," she insisted.

According to Grigorova, she and her colleagues have begun preparing for the next administration.

During an interview with bTV this morning, Grigorova was asked about her recent purchase of a piece of property near Ravno Pole for the equivalent of 5 euros per square meter. When asked about a piece of jewelry, a pendant, that had been noticed by the media, she responded by saying that she fully expects the next question to be about her underwear. Her opponents, she claims, spread lies and disinformation in the campaign's closing days.

Grigorova suggested inviting Nikolai Malinov, who is suspected of spying for Russia but is supported by the party, to explain if he worked for another nation.

During a debate, Grigorova questioned, "You're not going to make me hold a breathalyzer for Mr. Siderov, are you?" Siderov is a member of the Ataka party, which is also a part of the coalition that backed her candidacy.

"Meetings took me all around town, from the clean halls of the Faculty to the slushy alleys of "Hristo Botev" (editor's note: a neighbourhood in Sofia, poopulated mostly with Roma poeple, as well as  "Filipovtsi). I was in "Filipovtsi," I visited every major city in the country". When asked about the backing she is receiving from the Roma communities, Grigorova added, "This is a campaign and no one else did it." /BGNES
