I am ready to be a candidate for the next caretaker prime minister. There are no obstacles.
This was stated by the current acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev after the meeting with President Radev, BGNES reported.
When asked if he would leave Kalin Stoyanov as interior minister, Glavchev was terse and said that he had not yet been given a mandate to form an official cabinet. We have not commented on the details. It's the normal procedure, as you know. We have commented on general matters. The main thing is that if such an option is decided upon for me to be the candidate for the next acting prime minister, I am so ready and I have no obstacles for that, said Glavchev.
Today, President Radev will hold more meetings with potential candidates for acting prime minister under the constitution. The procedure for electing an interim prime minister continued after Radev refused to sign a decree to form an interim cabinet headed by Gorica Kozhareva.
The draft cabinet of Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva failed, and Radev's refusal to sign the decree was because of Kalin Stoyanov, whom Kozhareva wanted to leave as the head of the Ministry of Interior. | BGNES
