Today marks four years since the death of journalist Milen Tsvetkov, who was killed in his car while waiting for a green traffic light.
Tsvetkov lost his life at the intersection of Cherni Vrah Boulevard and Srebarna Street in the capital of Vrykden in 2020.
Three years later, in 2023, the court finally sentenced the driver Christian Nikolov to 9 years of imprisonment. Under the influence of drugs and with excessive speed in urban conditions, Nikolov hit Tsvetkov's car at a red light in the area of the Paradise Center mall. Nikolov is serving the sentence under an initial general regime. He is deprived of the right to drive a motor vehicle for 10 years. /BGNES
