Former PM of Bulgaria Nikolai Denkov: WCC-DB will not negotiate for a government if Boiko Borisov is the candidate for prime minister

Many of the sociological forecasts are attempts to manipulate public opinion. I also have access to such polls, and We Keep Changing-Democratic Bulgaria are firmly in second place, obviously there is no prospect of this changing, so we prepare for a first-second place fight.

This was stated by Nikolai Denkov, WCC-DB candidate for MP and former Prime Minister of Bulgaria.

The offer that has been put on the table - that Boyko Borissov (leader of GERB and former prime minister) will be prime minister - is completely unacceptable to us. I do not know how they will agree with Delian Peevski which of the two will be PM, but the offer is completely unacceptable.

Hristo Ivanov (one of the leaders of Democratic Bulgaria) was adamant that an offer with Borisov as prime minister and Peevski, who is sanctioned under Magnitsky Act, is also completely unacceptable, Denkov added.
"Borissov should have retired in 2020, and now, hanging Peevski like a millstone everywhere, they cannot seek dialogue with us. They are both continuously coming forward instead of letting Bulgaria develop," Denkov also said.
