GERB will not accept the We Continute the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (WCC-DB) memorandum. The WCC-DB memorandum is an attempt at political bargaining.
This is what Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Gabriel said in a statement this evening, a BGNES reporter informs.
"The WCC-DB memorandum contradicts the Bulgarian Constitution. This document proposes 2 political parties to agree in absolute contradiction to democracy, the rule of law and European values on the division of services, regulators and judiciary", Gabriel said.
"I find it an ultimatum and an attempt to change laws according to our partisan interests. It aims at controlling the independent judiciary", Gabriel added. /BGNES
