Five medals won the Bulgarian gymnasts on the last day of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Sofia, reported BGNES.
Stiliyana Nikolova won two titles and a silver medal from the individual apparatus finals, which took place at the last World Cup in Sofia. The native grace played her ball combination perfectly and scored 36.950 (D. 20.000; A. 8.500; E. 8.450) to claim the apparatus title in undisputed fashion. Our other representative Boryana Kalein made serious mistakes and remained eighth with a score of 31.200 (D. 16.800; A. 7.900; E. 7.100).
The silver went to the representative of Uzbekistan Tahmina Ikromova with 34.050, and the bronze award was won by the Israeli Daria Atamanov (33.950).
Earlier today, Stiliyana also won silver in the hoop final. With a 34.950 (D. 18.500; A. 8.150; E. 8.300), the Valentina Ivanova graduate finished second in the apparatus medal distribution. Yesterday's all-around champion Kalein made a mistake and with a score of 31.800 (D. 16.900; A. 7.900; E. 7.300) finished in eighth position in this final. Gold medal for the representative of Israel - Daria Atamanov, with 35.550. The bronze went to Sofia Raffaelli from Italy with 34.150.
In the last final, Nikolova also took the title in the ribbon final, while Boryana Kalein won the silver medal in bars. Nikolova was irresistible on tape and brought the whole hall to its feet with her performance. She received 33.650 points (16.500 difficulty, 32.650 artistry, 32.100 performance) and became the champion. Thus, the graduate of Valentina Ivanova finished the competition with four medals - two gold and two silver, after yesterday she was second in the all-around. Boryana Kalein played her composition very well, but at the end she made one mistake and the judges gave her 31,000 points. So she placed sixth in this final.
The Bulgarian ensemble consisting of Magdalina Minevska, Sofia Ivanova, Kamelia Petrova, Rachel Stoyanov and Margarita Vasileva received a score of 32.350 (D. 17.200; A. 8.100; E. 7.050) and won the silver medal in the final of 3 ribbons and 2 balls per Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Sofia.
The gold medal was won by the ensemble of Israel with 33.100, and the bronze was awarded to the ensemble of Poland. Earlier today, the native graces finished sixth in the five-hoop final.
