The European Parliament /EP/ approved the candidacy of Iliana Ivanova as member of the European Court of Auditors.
She will hold the position in the period 2025-2030.
BGNES reminds that the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU had notified our country that the mandate of the Bulgarian member of the European Court of Auditors expires on December 31, 2024 and according to the selection procedure, Bulgaria should have sent its proposal before September 30, 2024, in order to provide time for consultations with the EP.
For the period 2013 - 2023, Iliana Ivanova was a member of the European Court of Auditors, holding various positions. | BGNES
