Election day in Sofia started normally

In the Bulgarian capital's 127th "Ivan Denkoglu" secondary school, the polling stations opened precisely at 07:00.

The election day in Sofia for the national and European Parliament started peacefully, reported BGNES.

Boyan Turlakov, chairman of the 4th SEC at the school, told BGNES that the election papers were delivered on time.

"At 10:45 p.m. yesterday, the car came, gave the necessary documents, we checked everything and on the spot we signed the protocols for receiving ballots, papers and lists. Everything was fine," Turlakov said.

He explained that he made sure that there were clear instructions for the ballot boxes, for the ballots - where to cast the vote for the national, where for the European Parliament.

"Blue - for the European Parliament, green - for the National Assembly, I have also put flags, I played around to see which ballot box goes into which ballot. In the machines, the short ballot is for the EU, and the long one is for the National Assembly, so that there is no confusion", emphasized the chairman of the sectional election commission.

So far, there is no queue of people wishing to vote. | BGNES
