There is nothing better than the creation of a regular government that would enjoy parliamentary support and put an end to the political crisis. So today we hope that a first step will be taken that will be voted on in the plenary hall of the National Assembly.
With these words, caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev opened the meeting of the Council of Ministers, an hour before the handing over of the mandate to the candidate for Prime Minister from GERB-SDS Rosen Zhelyazkov, BGNES reported.
Governments must enjoy political support, Glavchev added. According to him, if the regular government takes office, the effect will only be positive.
In addition to the fact that there will be a regular government, with a clearly expressed majority, and the parliament will work as it should, because not a single bill has been finally adopted for 2 months. So, by achieving a majority, there will also be a majority for voting on bills, Glavchev commented.
He recalled that Bulgaria's international path has been established over the years and his cabinet has adhered to it, recalling Bulgaria's full membership in Schengen. | BGNES
