Dimitar Glavchev: People are tired of elections, there should be a regular government as soon as possible

Acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev called for the rapid constitution of the National Assembly and work towards a regular government.

"People are tired of this electoral progression, it even borders on electoral aggression towards the voters, and that is why these results are available," Dimitar Glavchev said at the beginning of the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers, a BGNES reported.

The caretaker prime minister added that he hopes the regular government will start its actions as soon as possible so that a better life can be ensured for the Bulgarian citizens.

According to his words, today the caretaker government can report that it has fulfilled its main task under the Constitution, namely the holding of fair and transparent elections.

"The Ministry of e-Government certified the machines, and for the first time representatives of the political parties, of the non-governmental organizations were also present, and I think that in terms of the fact that something can be done with the machines, at least this time there are no such doubts," he added.

Glavchev added that the Ministry of the Interior has been monitoring what is happening both during the pre-election campaign and on election day, "fighting the ugly phenomenon of buying and selling votes."

16 thousand employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs ensured that there was no deviation from the normal process on election day.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also did well", analyzed Glavchev and specified that abroad, in nearly 800 sections, 145,000 people voted for the National Assembly and 58,800 people for the European Parliament.

Glavchev also thanked the administration of the Council of Ministers, which communicated with the Central Elction Commission. "Thanks to our joint actions, all this was achieved," he concluded. | BGNES
