Delyan Peevski: Everything is done by Hristo Ivanov

Hristo Ivanov sees that he cannot control the judiciary and demands elections. His partners should wake up and tell him to sit on his chair and not push Bulgaria towards elections. This was stated by the chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Delyan Peevski to the media in the parliament, BGNES reported.

The text we are talking about, we wrote it with my friend Kiril Petkov, and we agreed on it with GERB. Petkov confirmed it, MRF is not a topic. The points are the services and investigative secrecy.

The truth is that twice there was a decision to change the head of the State Agency for National Security (SANS) - first with Gen. Atanas Atanasov and then with Denkov's advisor - Veselin Markov. For us, the services work extremely well and there is no need for any change, the superiors work best with the western partners and our opinion is that they should stay. That's why I don't understand the desire to control the offices politically, said Peevski.

At the moment, there is one political appointment in SANS, and it belongs to Petar Petrov from We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (WCC-DB), there are no other political appointments, he added.

The entire Constitution was made by Hristo Ivanov, and Atanas Slavov and with our participation, Borisov only supported it. Hristo Ivanov was in my office every day and then I told him that playing tricks with the enemy will not work, Peevski explained.

If the oligarchy wants to take over the judiciary, we will stop it. The lie must end. WCC-DB with "Vazrazhdane" cannot work, and neither can we. GERB has decided with BSP not to work, then who is left, asked the DPS leader.

The people of MRF are not second class, we will stand as their representatives and when they (WCC-DB) want our support, they will receive it in front of all voters, Peevski said.

He was adamant that an appeal could not be made. There is a mandate with Maria Gabriel as Prime Minister.

According to Peevski, the co-chairman of WCC-DB Hristo Ivanov is to blame for the current situation.

Ivanov sees that he cannot control the judicial power by playing all kinds of games with the oligarchs, and that is why he wants elections. Kiril Petkov, Asen, Nasko, wake up and tell him - Christ, sit on the chair and don't push Bulgaria into timelessness, concluded Delyan Peevski. /BGNES
