We will categorically take all measures in any area so that fair elections happen. This was stated by acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, a BGNES reporter reported.
Glavchev emphasized that it was not by chance that the media were invited to the Ministry of e-Government, where the numbers of the voting machines that would undergo certification for compliance were randomly drawn.
"Thank you for participating in drawing the numbers of the machines that will be authenticated. I really want everyone to be convinced that throughout the process everything will be public, transparent and in front of the eyes of all Bulgarian citizens," he said.
Glavchev refused to comment on the scandals between political forces and their impact on voter attitudes. "Our task is to help organize elections. We do not enter into political debates, we have nothing to do with them," said the caretaker prime minister.
"I have confidence in all the ministers who are members of my team," he concluded.
"It is important to restore citizens' trust in machine voting and to hold fair democratic elections on June 9," said the Acting Minister of Electronic Government Valentin Mundrov. /BGNES
