Ensuring a fair and impartial election process is a critical responsibility for the administration as we approach the second round of municipal elections. The Prime Minister, Academician Nikolay Denkov, made this claim in a special statement.
"The dismal figures of infractions in the first round", he said, "make this duty even more crucial".
"Of all the signals, 1115 are for purchasing votes, which is more than half. The previously examined video recordings of corrupt acts provide more proof of this. In light of this, the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are stepping up their efforts to prevent the buying and selling of votes in the run-off elections on Sunday," he continues. /BGNES
