Bulgarian President Rumen Radev: It is high time we had a government based on ideas and values

How and under what conditions a government will be formed depends entirely on the parties.

Bulgarian politicians, although the hard way, it is high time they learn to put public interests before their own and before the parties. President Rumen Radev said these words after exercising his right to vote in the elections for the national and European Parliament, reported a BGNES reporter.

Let's not forget that the citizens' initiative is not exhausted by appearing in front of the ballot box, but also by remembering the promises of the politicians, urged the head of state.

According to him, the formation of a government depends entirely on the parties. "Bulgarian politicians must put the public before their personal party interests and this is the guarantee of success," said the president.

In all elections, there is a problem with the machines and they are a barrier to the main problem, namely the invalid ballots, added Radev, who voted by machine today.

Before every election, party oracles scare with the president's parties, but it is high time for the parties to form a government based on ideas and values, Radev said. Another development, according to him, leads to personal and party delegitimization. | BGNES
