My resignation is the fulfillment of a commitment, said Nikolay Denkov from the parliamentary rostrum. The prime minister reminded his statement from Tuesday evening, in which he announced that he submitted his resignation to the parliament, reported BGNES.
The National Assembly is about to vote in the hall on the resignation. The reasons state that the resigned cabinet will continue to perform its functions until a new government is elected and will ensure continuity, Nikolay Denkov declared.
Even though the dialogue between the parties behind this government was blown up more than once, what was written in the declaration was fulfilled. It's time to take the decisive step for people - the choice of regulators. Yes, it takes political courage to have independent judges and prosecutors for regulators to start regulating public relations.
We put reforms, not names, on the negotiating table. With my resignation, we want the negotiations to start immediately, Denkov said from the parliamentary rostrum.
