For Bulgaria, the issue with the Republic of North Macedonia is solved. There are frameworks within which all countries, including those from the Western Balkans, should move. Bulgaria has made enough compromises with its national self-esteem and dignity.
This is what Bulgaria's caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev said.
His comment was on the occasion of yet another statement by the authorities in Skopje and in particular by President Gordana Silyanovska-Davkova: Bulgarians should be included in the constitution of North Macedonia once the country joins the European Union.
The inclusion of Bulgarians in the Macedonian constitution is a condition under the Skopje Negotiating Framework, approved by all EU member states and the parliaments of Bulgaria and North Macedonia. | BGNES
