The opportunities for upgrading the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Kosovo were the focus of the meeting of the caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti in Sofia.
They expressed satisfaction with the active political ties between the two countries and reaffirmed the readiness to expand bilateral cooperation as well as the partnership to strengthen security, stability and prosperity in the region. The two Heads of Government agreed that steps were needed to deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, highlighting the potential to build on relations in the areas of trade and economic ties, information and communication technologies.
In the course of the talks, Prime Minister Glavchev assured the guest that Bulgaria continues to support Kosovo's European integration and Euro-Atlantic perspective, as well as the country's candidacy for membership in the Council of Europe. / BGNES
