Bulgarian PM Denkov: I will travel to the USA as prime minister

I will fully support what Borisov said - yes, rotation is not at all costs. The rotation will happen, it must happen when we have clear guarantees that the work on the management program will continue and when it is clear that Bulgaria will continue to develop as a pro-European country that supports the main European priorities, that fights for increasing incomes and reducing inequalities. These are the goals we are fighting for. If we can realize them, there will be a rotation, if we can't, there won't be.

This was stated by Prime Minister Academician Nikolay Denkov from the parliamentary rostrum, reported a BGNES reporter.

"There is no fixed composition of the SC. You will learn the names when there is agreement on them. This includes my position, apart from being the Deputy Prime Minister, what other position will I hold? The evaluation of the ministers will take place in terms of the implementation of their program", Denkov added.

He announced that today he will hold talks with the leader of GERB Boyko Borisov, because they have not had a meeting for a long time. The prime minister specified that some of the topics for discussion will be regarding how the talks about the rotation are going, how the analysis is going, etc.

Academician Denkov also commented on his future business trip to Washington.

"After Boyko Borisov, as Prime Minister, traveled to the USA, it is quite natural that I, as Prime Minister, should also travel to the USA. Objectives and encounters have their logic. It is clear that when the trip takes shape at the end of my term, which is now expiring, or at the beginning of my term as Deputy Prime Minister, the goals and meetings may be different," he said, assuring that he will not go on a trip that is not worth

"I am the Prime Minister of Bulgaria and I will travel as such," stressed Academician Denkov.

According to him, attempts are currently being made to thwart the visit.

"Apparently someone is trying to stop me, let's see who it is," he said. /BGNES
