Bulgarian oil refinery "Lukoil": The company exports petroleum products within the established quotas and restrictions

"Lukoil Neftohim Burgas" exports petroleum products produced from Russian crude oil, strictly observing the established quotas and restrictions.

This is stated in the position of the company. It also states that each batch of products is exported under the control and after the prior approval of the Bulgarian "Customs" Agency.

"Lukoil Neftohim Burgas" will provide all assistance for the conduct of a professional and impartial investigation, because this will refute all false allegations against the Company, the position reads.

It is on the occasion of the announcement from earlier today that the MPs Delyan Peevski from the "Movement for Rights and Freedoms" (MRF) party and Delyan Dobrev from GERB political party have referred to the prosecutor's office following an investigation by "Politico" about the illegal export of Russian oil from "Lukoil" Bulgaria.

The signal to the prosecutor's office is that the refinery processed and sold abroad, including in the countries of the European Union, fuels produced from Russian oil. /BGNES
