The MPs from Vazrazhdane occupied the tribune of the parliament. Despite the obstacles they created, the National Assembly continued to work and adopt key decisions in the energy sector, a BGNES reporter reported.
"We continue with the boycott of parliament. Extraordinary items cannot be introduced without going through committees. We demand the resignation of the governor of Sofia, as well as a halt to the dismantling of the PSA," said Tsveta Rangelova of Vazrazhdane.
Despite the boycott, the National Assembly began its plenary day.
Desislava Atanasova, the chairwoman of the GERB-SDU group, made a motion that the deputies should speak from the floor and this motion was adopted.
And while the MPs from Vazrazhdane had occupied the rostrum, their colleagues accepted the derogation of Lukoil - the import of Russian oil to be abolished from March 1 next year and the export of products from Russian oil to be abolished from January 1, 2024. The adopted proposal to abolish the derogation was submitted by the GERB-SDS, PP-DB and DPS.
The National Assembly also decided to abolish the fee on the transmission of Russian gas through Bulgaria, which is 20 BGN per megawatt-hour. The MPs also decided to start the construction of units 7 and 8 of Kozloduy NPP, increasing its capital by 1.5 billion leva. /BGNES
