Bulgarian football legend Hristo Stoichkov accepted the invitation of the president of the World Federation (FIFA) Gianni Infantino to be part of the team.
"It is a great honour for me to accept Gianni Infantino's invitation to work for FIFA. I will represent both myself and Bulgaria at the world headquarters. Football gave me a chance to travel around the world, to see who is developing and what they need. I will do my best to help. Eastern Europe is an endless source of talent and should remain so," Stoichkov wrote on his social media profiles.
On Instagram Hristo Stoichkov published several photos with FIFA's president Gianni Infantino added: "I am glad to take on this new challenge, I am honoured to be in the big FIFA family". | BGNES
