Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Maria Gabriel: Denkov and I analyze and evaluate the work of the ministers before the rotation

I will not comment on anything related to the composition of the government after the rotation, because that is correct. Academician Nikolay Denkov and I are currently analyzing and evaluating the work of each minister in terms of the implementation of the management program.

This was stated by Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Maria Gabriel in response to a question from BGNES, what should be the profile of the future foreign minister after the rotation.

"For me, two more factors are important - the way in which Bulgarian citizens feel the good impact of the work of each minister and, of course, the work with the parliamentary groups, because we have a very clear legislative program and ambitions, which are accompanied by good relations and coordination with Parliament," Gabriel said.

She emphasized that at this stage it is important that each of the ministers remain focused on the implementation of the management program and thus "contribute to Bulgaria continuing to position itself well".

"We saw how important this was for Schengen. The Eurozone, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development - OECD, the Recovery and Development Plan are coming. Our ambitions will only be realized if every single minister, together with his team and the parliament, has a feeling for freedom, trust and support so that the goals can be completed," the foreign minister added.

Regarding the decision of the Minister of Health Hristo Hinkov, who announced that he will not be a minister after the rotation because he does not feel political support, Gabriel commented:

"I have not been spoken to on the subject. I would remain with great respect and would continue to monitor the implementation of tasks in the health sector as well."

Regarding the information about the possible release of the crew of the "Galaxy Leader" ship captured by the Houthis, Maria Gabriel recalled that from day one the Situation Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the Bulgarian services and international partners, closely monitor the situation.

"We are grateful for the good attitude. In the name of the good of our compatriots and their return, I think it is important to maintain discretion." /BGNES
