Bulgarian Defence Minister Zapryanov: There is no military threat to Bulgaria

"Let the citizens live in peace, work in peace, and rest in peace. We monitor the situation 24 hours before the start of the strike, during the strike and have information about the results of the strike," said Zapryanov.

He hopes that the Israeli government will be wise and there will be no escalation between Iran and Israel.

When asked what the action plans are in case of a complication of the situation, Zapryanov said that we have all kinds of plans. "But as I said, we don't have to take any special measures. The situation is the same for NATO. Air defense systems operate in a planned mode," he added.

Zapryanov announced that from tomorrow the troops will conduct planned training as planned.

When asked by BGNES how many drones we have and whether the purchase of drones is planned, Zapryanov answered: "There is such a project for drones in the investment program until 2032. When the parliament accepts it, you will see." The Acting Minister of Defense refused to answer how many drones the Bulgarian army has. /BGNES
