I am ready for dialogue at any time with the president. I await his decisions, if he does not comply, the responsibility for this remains with him, said the caretaker government Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev.
Glavchev commented to Bulgarian journalists in Brussels, where he participated in the extraordinary meeting of the European Council, reported BGNES.
On Wednesday, Rumen Radev invited a conversation with the acting Prime Minister to discuss the proposals for changes in the executive power.
"The responsibility for the ministers I propose is entirely mine. The one who thwarts the ministers proposed by me will take responsibility. If the proposals I make do not happen, then let him take responsibility," Glavchev said expressing readiness for dialogue.
BGNES recalls that Prime Minister Glavchev proposed the reshuffle at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs a week after the inauguration of the official authority. This was done through a message from the press service of the MC, sent late on Monday evening.
The prime minister suggested that the GERB-UDF Parliamentary Group MP and deputy chairman of the party, Daniel Mitov, take the post of foreign minister in place of the career diplomat and ambassador to Montenegro, Stefan Dimitrov.
The other replacement proposed by Glavchev is the Minister of Agriculture Kiril Vatev, who kept his post from the previous cabinet and in the official one. Glavchev proposes that the position be filled by Georgi Takhov, citing the continued tension and dissatisfaction in the agriculture sector as reasons. GERB leader Boyko Borisov defined the requested replacement of Foreign Minister Stefan Dimitrov with Daniel Mitov as a coincidence.
On Wednesday, President Radev reminded that when he was appointing official offices, the parties could not think of such interference.
"I hope that Mr Glavchev realizes the damage to the cabinet and the trust in the electoral process when he quickly fulfils the orders of his party leader," said Radev and emphasized that there are many diplomats with the qualities to be ministers. /BGNES
