Bulgaria and Ukraine will co-host in Sofia the Second Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimean Platform.
On April 15, the Central Military Club in Sofia will host the Second Conference dedicated to security in the Black Sea, within the framework of the International Crimean Platform. The conference is jointly organized by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Ukraine, in partnership with the Center for Defense Strategies (Ukraine).
Russia's military aggression against Ukraine has seriously undermined the security system in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov region and has had a direct impact on the security of our continent. During the conference, the latest security developments in the Black Sea region, the consequences of Russia's continued military aggression against Ukraine and further steps to strengthen security in the region will be discussed.
The implementation of the Ukrainian "Peace Formula" will also be an important aspect of the discussion. The official opening of the conference is today. /BGNES
