Stella Kyriakidou, the European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, visited Bulgaria to learn about health-care concerns such as drug legislation, cancer treatment, and mental health care.
Prof. Hristo Hinkov, Minister of Health, mentioned this, according to a BGNES reporter.
"I guarantee that we will do our best to realize the common goals of the EU in all areas that are important for the health of the citizens of Europe," Hinkov added.
Stella Kyriakidou, European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, stated that they addressed similar aims for a robust European Health Union.
During the meeting, the two addressed the pharmaceutical reform plan, which is now being debated in the European Parliament. /BGNES
