Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva has been appointed Bulgaria's new caretaker prime minister, a BGNES reporter reports.
Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva will be Bulgaria's second female prime minister. She takes over from Dimitar Glavchev, who stepped down in the name of political calm.
President Rumen Radev handed the mandate to Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva. The Head of State announced that the most appropriate date for holding early parliamentary elections is 20 October. Radev wished success to the new prime minister.
Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva said that the most important task of the new government would be to hold early parliamentary elections.
The new prime minister has until 19 August to present the composition of the government. I BGNES
