Bulgaria demarches Hungary over allegations of deliveries of communications equipment to Syria and Lebanon

In response to statements by Hungarian officials regarding the supply of communication equipment to Lebanon and Syria, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry reiterated today that no such devices related to the explosions in these countries have been imported, exported or manufactured in Bulgaria.

This conclusion has been confirmed by checks carried out by the State Agency for National Security, together with the NRA, the Ministry of the Interior and the Customs Agency.

During a meeting with the Hungarian Ambassador in Sofia, Bulgaria strongly disagreed with the mention of its name in connection with these shipments. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Hungary to act responsibly and base its claims on facts. | BGNES
