The Council of Ministers of Bulgaria adopted a decision to authorise the participation of members of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Bulgaria in the NATO Security Assistance and Training Operation for Ukraine (NSA TU).
The operation takes place on the territory of the Alliance member states.
By adopting this Decision, Bulgaria gives a clear sign of its commitment to support Ukraine, uphold Euro-Atlantic values and reaffirm its Alliance solidarity to the common efforts in support of international peace and security.
Taking into account the proximity of the conflict to our border and its importance for the security of Europe, Bulgaria's contribution to NSA TU is in line with the efforts of the other Alliance Member States. I BGNES
