Bugatti, Rolls-Royce and Mercedes are confiscated from the property of Rumen Gaitanski-Valka

This morning, the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Prosecutor's Office and the General Directorate Combating Organized Crime, Ministry of Interior (Bulgaria) began searches in the offices and residences of Rumen Gaitanski-Valka (a nickname meaning "The Wolf" editor's note).

Several super luxurious and expensive cars will be repatriated from the base of "Wolf" JSC, after the prosecutor's office, the anti-corruption commission and the police searched the properties of businessman Rumen Gaitanski-Valka in Sofia this morning, BGNES reported.

The action is in connection with the investigation of a loan of nearly BGN 150 million granted to Gaitanski's company by the Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB), which the Anti-Corruption Commission announced on Friday. According to the investigators, these luxury cars were bought with money from the loan granted by BDB.

After the pink building on the capital's Oborishte Street in the centre was searched, the investigators headed to Tsarigradsko Shose Boulevard, where three premium brands of cars are parked in one of the premises.

The audited company owns 30 luxury cars. The court ordered the confiscation of 8 of them. The first to be repatriated are Bugatti, Rolls-Royce and Mercedes. The remaining five vehicles are being sought. | BGNES
