Boyko Borisov: Radev and Glavchev should replace Kalin Stoyanov and go to elections in the fastest way

GERB demands the resignation of Kalin Stoyanov. The GERB leader asked Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva with what sense did she run to the chief prosecutor yesterday.

Acting Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov should be dismissed from the Ministry of the Interior. I call on President Radev with Dimitar Glavchev as the current acting Prime Minister to find a formula, to remove Kalin Stoyanov, to choose someone acceptable and to go to the elections in the fastest way.

This was stated by the leader of GERB, Boyko Borisov after the project cabinet of Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva failed on Monday, the president refused to sign a decree for his appointment because Stoyanov remained at the head of the Ministry of Interior, reported BGNES.

The state cannot become a hostage of the interior minister, said Borisov.

"Yesterday I saw several inadmissible actions. An interior minister with a raised fist before the presidency is not admissible. When Kiril Petkov (the co-chair of "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria coalition (WCC-DB) - editor's note) and I were making the assembly, we were looking for a professional person, equidistant from everyone, I agreed on Kalin Stoyanov, because he was the head of the Directorate General "Combating Organized Crime", appointed by Boyko Rashkov. Mr Petkov was the first to talk to Stoyanov," Borisov recalled and added:

"At GERB, the interior minister does not interfere with us - we were repressed, arrested and what not".

According to Borisov, the candidate for interim prime minister, Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva, also acted very hastily. According to him, yesterday she had to return to the presidency at 3:00 p.m. and present to the head of state Rumen Radev another name for acting minister of the interior.

Regarding the WCC-DB's invitation to open the so-called "home book" with prime ministers, the GERB leader said he would not participate.

"There is no such thing as an equidistant prime minister," declared Borissov. | BGNES
