GERB will participate in the negotiations with "There is such a people" political party (ITN) to form a government with the third mandate. This was stated by the leader of GERB, Boyko Borisov, the parliamentary reporter of BGNES reported.
"We have a program that we will put on the table, we also have negotiations with them during the first mandate, so he will also be recalled," said Borisov.
He stated that he agreed with the position of Stanislav Balabanov from ITN that it was "time for statesmen". "I agree with colleague Balabanov that it is time for statesmen, but it was also time for statesmen two weeks ago. Time is the same. I think that these negotiations are useful because they would teach us more wisdom after the elections," stressed Borissov.
He indicated that if Slavi Trifonov participates in the negotiations, he will also participate, otherwise there is a negotiation team.
The leader of GERB also commented on the subject of the "conspiracy" to oust Raya Nazaryan from the post of Speaker of the Parliament, noting that something is going on in space, and that he cannot stop the deputies from speaking out. "GERB does not need protection from anyone, and we are not a party that runs to explain anything at every speech or every article in the media. I think that at least this principle, that the first political force should have the Speaker of the National Assembly, should be respected. It doesn't even cross my mind that they could do something like that, because it would mean a new majority right before the elections, a very angry GERB", he is categorical and advises them not to do it.
Borisov pointed out: "Once we swallowed our arrests. We once swallowed Rosen Zhelyazkov. But especially for Raya, I think the party will not swallow it."
According to him, if this happens, any future talks will be liquidated.
Asked what he meant by "angry GERB" he replied, "You'll see."
According to him, if a new majority is found that will oust the speaker of the parliament, this will also be the "new government", but he still hopes that reason will prevail in all political parties.
"We got together, we made a constitutional reform, a judicial reform, and when it comes to individuals, they all start offering their own people, which doesn't change anything. At least I understand the judicial reform to leave the systems in the court, in the prosecutor's office, in the investigation, so that they can self-regulate, choose their own leaders and bear responsibility like any other institution in Bulgaria," said Borisov and added in in connection with the decision of the Constitutional Court, that in states governed by the rule of law, the principle applies that court decisions are not discussed, but accepted.
The leader of GERB defined the relations between the "coalition partners WE Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (WCC-DB) and Bulgarian Socialist Party" as a "family quarrel". "Now they are fighting for the communist regime on the podium. I am absolutely in solidarity with Gen. Atanasov - immediately the Minister of Culture and Acting Prime Minister Glavchev must cancel this decision that they made for the Stara Planina Order of Georgi Yordanov, regardless of the large initiative committee," he urged and demanded that Atanasov dissociate himself from "the grandchildren of State security who rule the city'.
When asked whether an acting or regular government should appoint the European Commissioner, he emphasized that in recent years, our country has been governed mostly by acting governments and "if we wait regularly, we probably won't have a European Commissioner." | BGNES
