GERB-UDF (GERB - Union of Democratic Forces) proposes a government that sets itself three main goals.
This is a government that can share responsibility and a government in which GERB-UDF will fully bear responsibility. A few ministers from the service cabinet remain in it, who are doing well.
This is what GERB-UDF leader Boyko Borisov said to journalists after the party's Prime Minister candidate Rosen Zhelyazkov presented the draft cabinet to the president, reported BGNES.
If the government goes through with some trick - if someone doesn't come, if some people support us, then the government will have a very short life - not because someone will topple it, but because we will get out of it, said Borisov.
The leader of GERB-UDF described the three main tasks before the "Zhelyazkov" design office.
The first and most important goal is the adoption of the budget. The second is the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP). The Eurozone is a political issue and if there is a government, we can move it, just as we got you into the European Banking Union, just as we got you into the waiting room of the Eurozone. After that, we can safely go to elections, said Boyko Borisov.
He paid special attention to PP-DB and emphasized that "ministers are easily changed":
I am addressing my colleagues from the WE Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (WCC-DB), as well as all the others who say that they must protect their voters. Let them think about whether on these few points, if they want to talk about a program - we are on the right track, said Borisov. The leader of GERB emphasized that as the first political force after June 9, they act responsibly and are open to dialogue.
Bulgaria has three development paths, added Rosen Zhelyazkov.
The first path is a slow normalization of political life. The second time is a political recession. The third path is political regression. The processes surrounding Bulgaria are developing so dynamically that we cannot afford the second and third times, said the GERB-UDF candidate for prime minister.
According to him, the proposed ministers in the draft cabinet are people with political responsibility and experience, experts.
We are not talking about a 4-year mandate, but about specific policies. The most important thing is the stabilization of public finances and steadfastness from our European path, Zhelyazkov emphasized.
GERB-UDF offers a clear legislative program with clear deadlines. We will present our priorities and on Wednesday, if the president issues the decree today, we will enter the National Assembly, Zhelyazkov requested on leaving the presidency.
If we do not achieve and strive for our political unification on the priorities that matter to the people, we will be divisive. I accept my nomination with a high sense of responsibility and commitment, Zhelyazkov also stated. | BGNES
