Boyko Borisov and David Cameron discussed Bulgaria's accession to Schengen and the Eurozone

GERB leader Boyko Borisov and British Foreign Minister David Cameron discussed Bulgaria's accession to Schengen and the Eurozone, BGNES reported.
"Bulgaria and Great Britain have always been close partners, especially in security cooperation. That is why the exit of Great Britain from the EU cannot be an occasion to reduce the intensity of bilateral relations. We united around this conclusion today in a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister David Cameron," said Borisov.
He pointed out that "as former colleagues and great friends, he and Cameron discussed current topics on the European agenda and the challenges facing the Union."
Borisov informed the British minister about the priorities of the Euro-Atlantic majority in the Bulgarian parliament.
"Among the leading topics of the conversation were Bulgaria's full membership in Schengen and the Eurozone, as well as our efforts to ensure long-term support for Ukraine," added the GERB leader. /BGNES
