Both Bulgarian PM Glavchev and Bulgarian President Radev will participate in the NATO Summit in Washington

The deadline for the procedures for registering the national delegations in the forum expires today, June 21.

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dimitar Glavchev will participate in the upcoming NATO Summit, which will take place from 07/09/2024 to 07/11/2024 in Washington. The President and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Rumen Radev will also participate in the meeting.

This was announced by the government press service on Friday. The deadline for the procedures for registering the national delegations in the forum expires today, June 21.

The forum is the highest decision-making level in the Alliance and will mark the 75th anniversary of the North Atlantic Treaty signed in Washington, USA. The decisions to be taken at the meeting in Washington presuppose the implementation of long-term commitments by the allies, with particular emphasis on investments in the defense of each NATO member country and long-term support for Ukraine and its financial provision.
