GERB leader Boyko Borisov took stock of the local elections held in two rounds, emphasizing that his party won mayors in half of the regional centers of the country, BGNES reported.
"The candidates for mayors of GERB and supported by GERB won in the first round in 95 municipalities, in the second round they won in 38 municipalities or in total in 133 municipalities out of 265. Of these, GERB won in the first round in 7 regional cities - Burgas, Vratsa, Montana , Pernik, Stara Zagora, Targovishte and Yambol," he wrote on the social network.
Borisov noted that in the second round GERB won in 7 regional cities - Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Pleven, Plovdiv, Sliven, Smolyan and Haskovo - in total in 14 regional cities out of 28.
"GERB is the first political force in the country!" he stressed. /BGNES
