For GERB, it does not matter who will be the prime minister. This was stated by the leader of GERB, Boyko Borisov, BGNES reported.
"The only thing we can claim during Dimitar Glavchev's rule is that no one contested the elections. This is a fact. I say again - GERB is indifferent to us who will be acting prime minister, who will be acting ministers," said Borisov and emphasized that for him these elections are "a real choice of the people as to what should happen and whether this chaos should continue in the future ".
Borisov is adamant that there is no good Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) for GERB, noting that he hopes the other parties will show more sense and not be guided by the anti-emotions they have.
"The president can choose whatever he wants. In no case will we decide whether it is good or bad because it simply does not concern us," he added on the occasion of the election of an acting prime minister.
Asked how he would comment on WCC-DB's call (We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria coalition - WCC-DB - ed. note) on whether GERB can do without Peevski, Borisov replied: "It is high time for these colleagues to look at their own parties because GERB can do without anyone for 20 years, it can do with anyone, and I have very clearly said that good There is no MRF to work with any of them. And the colleagues who play with one or the other will pay the price in the elections because the voters are not blind."
When asked if it was true that the former Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maria Gabriel could become the Deputy Secretary General of NATO, he stated that the truth is something that is happening, the rest is speculation. "We have done everything so that a worthy candidacy, such as Maria Gabriel, is appreciated in the world," added the GERB leader.
In his words, "doing something through a caretaker government" literally means "entering through the back door."
Borisov emphasized that GERB is a party that, when it governs, bears all the responsibility and is responsible for every step it takes.
Asked who initiated the "backdoor entry," he explained: "Now when you watch them cowering in the cubicles, in the offices and moving from car to car, they'll tell you. I don't see them, I read what you said If it's not true, I would apologize, but the colleagues from ITN (There is Such People political party - ed. note) confirmed that there was such a meeting in their office, and that's why I'm commenting, and I can't understand why you once say that everything is public, and then you hide in offices, laboratories, apartments, you write on pieces of paper, pull deputies and what not. We are too old to be angry. | BGNES
