BoIko Borisov offers a way out of the political crisis in Bulgaria, WCC-DB accepted GERB's invitation for talks

Bulgarian party GERB leader Boiko Borisov sent an official letter to "We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria", proposing a meeting to get out of the political crisis. Borisov's invitation was accepted by the leadership of WCC-DB, BGNES reported.

GERB's official letter was sent yesterday after a meeting of parliament. According to BNR sources, GERB proposes Atanas Atanasov to become the 51st NA Speaker, and a GERB representative, most likely Borisov himself, to head the next government.

The letter itself, which was circulated by the WCC-DB, does not contain such proposals.

The invitation was accepted by the WCC-DB.

"We accept the invitation to meet. After seven parliamentary elections, dialogue between the first two political parties is a necessary responsibility towards the Bulgarian citizens," the party said.

The coalition believes that a constructive conversation on freeing the institutions (especially the prosecutor's office and the anti-corruption commission) from Mr Peevski's influence is key to getting out of the political crisis.

"We propose that the meeting be held in a public format, with the participation of the leaders," the PP-DB leadership said. I BGNES
