Finance Minister Asen Vassilev was unable to exercise his right to vote in Haskovo, as he was removed from the electoral roll, reported the correspondent of BGNES in the region.
The reason for removing the finance minister from the list is the change of his current address, which is outside the country.
Petya Shopova, Chairman of the Election Commission, explained that in order for Vassilev "to be able to exercise his right to vote, it will be necessary to present a certificate issued by the municipality under Article 40 of the Election Code, as well as to fill out a declaration that he will not vote elsewhere. It was explained to the gentleman, he agreed with our reasons, if he returns with these two documents we will cross him off the list of deleted persons and add him under the line of the electoral roll and he will be able to exercise his right to vote." she assured. /BGNES
