On October 1, 2024 at 10.00 am in the Aula of the Rectorate will be officially opened the academic year 2024/2025 of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
The guests of the academic community will be the Speaker of the National Assembly Raya Nazaryan, the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria Iliana Iotova and the Minister of Education and Science prof. Galin Tsokov.
Rector prof. Georgi Valchev will open the academic year with a speech and will introduce the deans of the faculties of Sofia University.
The freshmen, champions of national Olympiads and competitions and winners of national diplomas for excellent grades, will receive their student books from the Rector of Sofia University.
Before the academic celebration in the Auditorium, the Rector's management and the Academic Council of Sofia University will present flowers to the monuments of the donors Evlogy and Hristo Georgiev. | BGNES
