The Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov canceled the air show at the Third Air Base due to an accident with a military transport plane L - 39 ZA. The incident happened during the preparation of tomorrow's demonstrations.
An investigation is currently underway.
Measures have been taken to localize the fires and establish the causes of the accident.
The ministry did not provide further details about the incident. BGNES reminds that earlier today President Rumen Radev participated in a demonstration flight of an F-16 fighter jet at the air base at the invitation of the US Air Force.
