Vucic threatens Balkans with Russian nuclear strike

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has threatened that the Balkans could become the target of a Russian nuclear strike, BGNES reported.

Vucic is concerned about the US decision to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles on Russian territory.

"Putin will not hesitate to use nuclear weapons. We as a country are not ready. We have shelters that can only accommodate 258,000 people at the moment. We need to restore them and reach 1 million to 1.5 million people so that we can accommodate them. Whoever is targeted by our environment, it is as if we are. I apologize to the citizens that we did not finish this work on time, but we will do it as quickly as possible," the Serbian president said in an address to the citizens of Serbia.

"Our conclusions are that it is important to start talks about a truce or peace, because this leads to a global catastrophe. You have ten steps to a complete catastrophe, and we have passed 9. The Bryansk region was shelled by American missiles, and the shelling of Russian ammunition depots will continue. Each subsequent step leads us to a total nuclear conflict. Few people know President Putin like I do. The one who thinks that Putin is afraid has never seen President Putin in his life," Vucic said.

The President of Serbia announced that, at the invitation of Vladimir Putin, he will attend the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in World War II on May 9, and that this will be a great honor for him.

"If the world does not end, and I am no longer sure and I hope it will not happen, it will be a great honor for me to be on Red Square 80 years after the liberation from fascism, as I was at 75," Vučić said, adding that "the Serbian people are the only ones in this region who, together with the Greek people, have been on the side against Nazism from the very beginning."

"And therefore, the Serbian people have an additional obligation to preserve the truth about the fight against fascism. May 9 is far away, but I thank President Putin for the invitation and told him that if nothing happens, I will be happy to attend the event," Vučić added. | BGNES
