Vucic told the Serbian press that the two also talked about "the situation in Kosovo and Metohija" at the Hamburg conference on sustainable development.
"We expressed different opinions, but also great agreement on many world issues. At the same time, the importance of our cooperation was stressed, and gratitude was expressed to our partners for the huge number of factories and investors who employ people from Germany in our country and contribute to its development. If it were not for German companies, we would hardly have reached such an investment rating, for which we were congratulated by our German hosts and Chancellor Scholz," Vucic said.
"I thank the gracious hosts of the conference, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Hamburg Mayor Peter Chancher for the warm welcome and I am happy to represent Serbia today at a very important and prestigious global event. Sustainability is not just a word - it is a challenge we all face together, and I believe it is time to take responsibility and start working on solutions quickly," Vucic wrote on his Instagram page.
